Jerid is playing on the freshman basketball team this year...the season is almost over and they have not won one game yet!!! Uggg! I am starting to feel like a poor loser! He has a pretty good attitude which makes me very proud of him. But I have to admit it is hard to watch his team lose every game, not just by a little either. They get their butts kicked! By A LOT!!! Sometimes I look at the other teams parents cheering and I think to myself....."shut up! " Then I laugh at myself because I have that really ornery feeling inside my chest. Oh- JeriLyn get a grip! They have 5 more games left! There is hope of winning at least ONE game!! Go-Jerid!!! Kick some butt back!
Sounds like my softball team. You try to be positive and say it is about having fun. But man after awhile, it hurts. I would think at that age you get some lip from the other team too. I always tell myself that as long as I play my best, that is all I can do.
