Day 6

Felt kinda ornery again this morning but after eating it helped. Felt good the rest of the day! Oh! and I slept until 4am again!! I don't crave meat..except maybe a hamburger..the things I crave are: gravy, cornbread, toast, crackers and muffins. This hasn't been an easy thing to do....but it seems to be getting a little easier...The first 3-4 days were challenging for sure! We are so glad we are doing it!!

Breakfast:
SP Complete, supplements, cantaloupe, and an orange.

Lunch:
A huge yummy salad with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and 1/2 C. of Quinoa
Supper:
SP complete, Supplements, Sweet potato, 1/4 C quinoa and ACV cucumbers

Our snacks:
We LOVE dates!! It is amazing how they satisfy our sweet tooth!! I think our taste buds have changed just a bit because we never really liked them before!
D has lost 7 lbs.
I have lost 4 lbs.  Weird because we eat a lot!

I would like toast with cheese and an egg! oh! and banana bread with a big glass of cold milk please!  👍😇 Tasting a little something like metal in my mouth...eww.

Day 3

All is going well!
So much to learn! Doing a ton of research too! I need to learn more about food combination...which foods go best together. I have decided to have a SP complete shake for breakfast and lunch with fresh fruit and veggies for snacks.  (The shakes are easier to digest so doing 2/day during the cleanse is probably a good idea.) And then eat a plate or bowl of something for supper.
Breakfast:
Pumpkin Pie Shake:
1 banana
1 C. Organic Pumpkin
two scoops of SP complete
pinch of ginger and cinnamon

with a side of supplements🙋

Should have sprinkled extra cinnamon on top to pretty-tize it! oh well, next time!
Whip cream would be great on it!! Guess I'll have to pass on that!
It is pretty good.
Had leftovers for Lunch: Veggie burrito without the wrap. Didn't enjoy it as much as the first time.
Supper: Veggie spaghetti:
The sauce is amazing as I have a good recipe and made it from fresh ingredients! The noodles....
well, yuck...I am sick of zuchinni ....ugh!! I couldn't even finish it..and couldn't even drink my SP shake. But Dan really liked it! LOL   ugh...even looking at the picture it is gross! Ha!

Day 2

Feeling pretty good...slept okay, still woke and laid awake around 3. Woke up with my normal achy neck and the normal feeling of not sleeping well.

Physical affects are not really noticeable yet! Maybe just a tiny tad bit of a normal headache...but compared to mine, it's a piece of cake to deal with!

Breakfast:
I felt like chewing food instead of a shake so I had 1/2 banana, 1 orange 5 cherry tomatoes and 1/2 C. Quinoa. I'm not a huge fan of that but it taste SO GOOD now, I think because it is warm!  The SP complete I just put in water and plugged my nose and slammed it! GROSS! I gagged. Way better in a smoothie!! Green tea decaf and supplements.
When we got home from church we needed something!!!!! So we ate a couple of dates! Yummy! It was crazy how it tasted really good and was very satisfying for the sweet craving!  I tried a fig but didn't care for it....I had to google how to eat one! LOL  I like fig newtons though! Ha!
Lunch:
Veggie burrito!
Saute veggies, wrapped in a big collard green. Seasoned with sea salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and cumin. These were really good too! Again something warm.  Cauliflower, broccoli, beets (won't put beets in next time they turn everything pink!), onion, jalapeno, zucchini and quinoa. With guacamole on the side! Supplements
I really missed beans in it so that will be nice when we can have those again!
Some cravings are:
Biscuits and gravy
Crackers
Corn chips
🤣🤣🤣🤣

The cleanse!

Standard Process Organic Farms
We have decided to do a 21 day cleanse! Fun and not so fun! We just feel sluggish and achy joints. I have about 3 migraines a week (with a few good spurts now and then) but am super thankful for medicine that gave me my quality of life back. Although I would like if somehow I could get off of them. We will see! Thought I would blog about our (mostly mine) experience for our record and for anyone interested in hearing about it!

The Standard Process 21 day cleanse.
I am not promoting this product at all...just sharing our experience.
